You may remember last October that the Arora family so generously staged a wonderful Black Tie Ball on behalf of Cancer Research UK and our Foundation. The support that Surinder and Sunita gave us which included the venue, food and drink meant that the Ball including auction prize monies would be split between the two Charities.
And just to tell you we have received the truly magnificient cheque to the sum of £150,000. What a boost for our next payout of grants.
The evening included talks and performances by Surinder Arora, Dr. Harpal Kumar, Lord Jeffrey Archer, Jocelyn Brown, Sanjay Arora and Sir Bruce Forsyth. Everyone there enjoyed an evening of fine dining, fabulous entertainment and a special live performance from Sir Cliff Richard.
