Fire performers entertained the guests on arrival followed by a champagne reception where 150 raffle tickets were sold at £50 each with a guaranteed prize.
VIP guests included Sir Cliff Richard and close friend Sir Rod Stewart and wife Lady Penny Lancaster as well as singers Matt and Luke Goss and Starsailor’s James Walsh.
Renown comedian and television personality Brian Conley, global best selling author Lord Jeffrey Archer and LBC radio presenter Nick Ferrari hosted the event and conducted six live auctions and pledges.
Gloria was a VIP guest and co-host and opened the evening with a heartfelt speech.
A three course dinner was served with complimentary drinks, followed by live performances from Spice Girl Melanie C and Britain’s Got Talent winners, Collabro.
Silent and live auction prizes included a Hard Rock Tenerife hotel experience, Rod Stewart hospitality box and Henley Regatta dinner package.
A new concept to raise money took place with 35 people standing up to offer £1,000 pledges to contribute towards ‘Chemo-buses’.
VIP guest Sir Cliff Richard celebrated his 75th Birthday with a cake and the whole room singing him Happy Birthday, closely followed by impromptu performances where he sung his well know songs ‘Living Doll’ and ‘Congratulations’.
Pink ladies stilt walkers interacted with the crowd handing out ‘Heals Buttons’ for Hard Rock Heals awareness.
